Remembrance Day November 11….
To wake from sleep…And live our lives as sheep…School, work, family and marriage…Our lives are to some an evil mirage…To believe so is justice in miscarriage…Yet we try best to not respond with rage…Or to thus live in a cage…There are those who wish to shovel our souls to the deep…To our brave men and women we trust our freedom to keep…In thus doing many have fallen asleep…For this we weep…And to remember is a promise we intend to keep…
